Gary Slater

Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Bradford

Gary’s research interests include aspects of labour economics (including: temporary work; worker participation; the knowledge economy, occupational change and the future of work; working time; policies for full employment), and political economy. He is currently working on projects concerning the knowledge economy, occupational change and the future of work (with Peter Nolan); agency working and its consequences (with C. Forde); and worker participation and its linkages to job satisfaction and productivity. He is an associate editor of journal Economic Issues.
